Moon6 — Limited to 100 copies

This is the sixth deck of fine quality playing cards from Moon— and it is printed by MPC in China on M31 linen card stock with their Beta playing card finish in an edition of 100 decks.
The deck is very traditional yet minimalistic. There are two main colours; black and red — plus an extra gray that is used mainly on the courts.

The art is my take on traditional courts, jokers, pips — generally my take on a traditional deck of cards of the American type.
I love the traditions of playing cards, and most of all I love the visual ‘conversation’ that is taking place between designers of playing cards. Somebody designing a deck of cards today is in many ways commenting on the decks and the designs that came before.
These comments teach us, the users or collectors of playing cards, a lot of things about the times of old and the times of now. Maybe even of the times to come.
So; why these kind of lino-cut courts?, why the black (or red) skincolour?, why the large pips? — and so on. Probably there is an explanation to it all.

The deck has been unexpectedly expensive to produce — international shipping has become a real pain, among other things. So the price is high, and so is also the shipping of the decks.
This is a limited edition and I will be shipping all copies of the deck here from Moon.

The cards of this deck handle great. And they look and feel totally nice.

Use this deck for gameplay, cardistry or even magic.
It is recommended that you buy at least one extra deck to give away — I am sure that you’ll love these cards so much you’ll want to share them with your friends.
Just remember: Buy only what you need. So many people want  this deck, hopefully there are enough copies for everybody.
